Norman L. Brickell, Board Chairman and Founder
Biography:
Norman Brickell’s professional career in real estate spans over 35 years. As president of Brickell Associates,
Mr. Brickell’s real estate consulting specializes in investments, management, development, sales, financing,
asset evaluation/enhancement, and commercial leasing. The New York City operation of Brickell Associates
operated as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lehman Brothers. In New York City, he served in senior executive
capacities at Sonnenblick Goldman - a subsidiary of Robert Bass/George Soros, and Cross & Brown Co. -
subsidiary of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. A partial list of clients Mr. Brickell has represented as a
real estate advisor includes: American Express, Citibank, Avis, Atlantic & Pacific Co., Phipps Foundation, Tata/
Taj Group of India, The Singer Company.
Mr. Brickell’s community service includes serving on the board for the Achilles Track Club. He is a founding
member and former Chair of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He is a former board member of
the Jewish National Fund of New York.

Peter Baronoff, Advisory Board President
Biography:
Peter Baronoff’s experience touches on several of the focus areas of the Rodd D. Brickell Foundation. Mr.
Baronoff serves as chairman and chief executive of three national companies, including Promise Healthcare,
Inc. in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Baronoff serves in a third term as President of the Acute Long-Term Hospital
Association. He is currently serving a second term on the City of Boca Raton as council member and Deputy
Mayor. He is a board member of the Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park. He is a trustee of the Boca Raton
Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the Rodd D. Brickell Foundation, Mr. Baronoff selflessly shares his
leadership guidance and support in the community including Temple B’nai Israel Congregation, the Tri-County
Humane Society, Simon Wiesenthal Center, American Hear Association, Boy Scouts of America, American
Health Association, Florida Atlantic University Athletics, Woodfield Cancer Unit, Stand Among Friends, and
more.
